FAMIS is the Department of Education’s web-based purchasing application that allows schools to make purchases from DOE-contracted vendors. Non-public schools use FAMIS to place orders for textbooks, library books, and computer hardware and software with funds received from the New York State Loan Programs.

Professor Weissman’s Software is a Contracted Single Source Vendor for the New York City Department of Education.

New York City schools may order through FAMIS. Select the option to purchase from a non-contract, sole source vendor. 

New York State schools may elect to use Title IV funding, under the category of "well-rounded educational opportunities" (WRE), as per ESEA Section 4107.
